Why choose north-east England? You'd be working across a picturesquely rugged coastline, interspersed with charming villages and resort towns. During your downtime, there are vast, sandy beaches, excellent surf spots, rolling countryside and medieval castles just waiting to be explored.

Follow the C2C cycle route and experience the breathtaking landscape of the north-east, visit the north-east's vibrant cities and pop along to the many food, music and art festivals that spring up across the Summer.

If you've always wanted to experience the famously friendly north, now's the time. Whether it's pristine surf beaches or a coastal adventure you're after, you won't be disappointed.

As Face-to-Face Fundraiser Marissa Laing put it: 'The area was beautiful and everyone up there was friendly and happy to talk.'

If you like the sound of meeting passionate people, telling stories of our courageous crews, dishing out safety advice and helping to save lives at sea, join us this year!

Will you stand with us?

Our brave volunteer crews are still on call, 24/7, despite the global pandemic. We urgently need you to stand with us in these uncertain times so they can continue to be there for you, your loved ones and everyone who needs them.
