Our face-to-face Will writing service

Book a face-to-face appointment with a solicitor near you to write or update your simple Will for free*.

*For more complex Wills, our Will-writing partners will speak to you about any potential costs beforehand, so you won’t suddenly face an unexpected bill. 

How it works

  1. You (and your partner, if writing a joint Will) must be 18 years or older and live in either the UK or Ireland.
  2. Complete our short form below.
  3. We’ll send you details of at least two participating solicitors local to you that we partner with. For those living in rural areas, we’ll send the closest participating solicitors, but there may be fewer to choose from.
  4. We'll also send you our free Gifts in Wills Guide to help you through the journey of writing or updating your Will.
  5. You can then book an appointment with your preferred solicitor and write your Will for free.
  6. The RNLI pays a special rate to the solicitor to write or update a simple Will, and there is no cost to you.
