Free Wills Month Liverpool and Wirral

RNLI/David Edwards

What is Free Wills Month?

Free Wills Month takes place during October, offering supporters aged 55 or over the opportunity to write or update their simple Will, for free*, using participating solicitors in and across Liverpool and Wirral. Although there is no obligation to do so, we would be very grateful if you could consider leaving a gift in your Will to the RNLI. Any gift, large or small, can provide kit and training to protect our lifesavers when they face the full force of the sea to rescue a stranger.

Don’t live in Liverpool and Wirral or aged between 18 and 54? Visit our Free Wills Services page where you can still write your Will for free with the National Free Wills Network, another free Will writing service.

*You can write or update your simple Will for free. If your Will is more complex, the solicitor will speak to you about any potential costs.

Why should I leave a gift to the RNLI in my Will?

A gift in your Will helps the RNLI to save lives at sea. 6 in 10 lifeboat launches are only possible thanks to gifts in Wills from generous supporters like you. Any gift, large or small, will help provide RNLI lifesavers with the equipment, training and lifeboats they need to save lives.

When you leave a gift in your Will to the RNLI, and once we have received your gift, your name will be added to a legacy lifeboat, alongside the names of others who’ve supported us in this special way. So when the lifeboat crews launch to the rescue, you will be right there alongside them.
