The Beaumaris lifeboat Annette Mary Liddington launched at 8.48 pm and made her way towards the casualty who was being attended to by a paramedic on the Gwynedd side of the Menai Strait by Gorad Y Gyt.

The Bangor Mobile Coastguard Mobile Rescue Team had also been tasked to this incident together with the paramedic and an ambulance.

A lifeboat crew member went ashore and it was decided to transfer the casualty in the lifeboat to the pier at Menai Bridge. He was able to make his way with assistance and together with one member of the Bangor Mobile Coastguard Rescue Team was taken to Menai Bridge pier.

The lifeboat was met at the pier by further members of the Coastguard team.

Once the teenager was back ashore the lifeboat returned to her station arriving at 9.21 pm being refuelled and thoroughly cleaned under the Covid 19 instructions, being ready for her next service call by 10.22 pm.
