Porthcawl rescue: ‘The waves kept getting bigger and bigger’
Every second counts as the crew at Porthcawl launch to rescue a surfer caught in a rip.
Pushed around by powerful waves and facing treacherous cliffs, the surfer was in real danger. The determined lifeboat volunteers fought through huge waves, low light, heavy cloud and sea fog to save his life.
Watch Crew Member Angharad describe what it was like to be part of the dramatic rescue.
