Working with Ford: A top view for RNLI lifeguards

RNLI lifeguards are trained to spot danger fast. Often, a naked eye or binoculars are enough. But what if the tide goes out a really long way? How do lifeguards spot danger then?

Our vehicle supplier Ford has helped us come up with an ingenious solution: a simple adaptation of the Ford Ranger lifeguard patrol vehicle to give a clearer view of the water’s edge, at any state of the tide. And, as you’ll see in the video below, shot on Pembrey Beach in South Wales, that can make a lifesaving difference.
