Many of our lifeboats are launched by slipways. Some are lowered onto the water on davits. And others are reached by boarding boats. From floating boathouses to tractors and special lifting mechanisms, take a look at all the ways our lifeboats launch:

This Christmas, volunteer crews up and down the coast will launching lifeboats to face all sorts of weather conditions and rescue the next person in need. Your kindness today can help ensure they’re able to launch every time, and save every one who needs them.
