Newhaven May Day Mile
A fully inclusive walk/cycle, all welcome suitable for buggies, dog walkers and mobility scooters.
This is our fourth year celebrating the work of the RNLI with our May Day Mile and so far has grown in popularity each year.
It is a gentle stroll along Seaford's beautiful seafront, on the flat concrete promenade. It is suitable for walkers, cyclists, dog walkers, buggies and mobility scooters. £5 entrance fee for adults, under sixteens are free. We encourage participants to get sponsorship if possible, but grateful if you just donate your £5 fee, under 18 are free.
The lifeboat will be at the start/finish line at 10am and they come right up to the beach (unless they have a shout of course and are needed elsewhere). Crew will also join us for the walk along with our mascot Stormy.
The Eventbrite QR code enables you to donate £5 even if you are unable to join us on the day, but still wish to support us.
Hopefully the sun will shine, and everyone can enjoy beautiful Seaford whilst raising much needed funds for the RNLI. Thank you for reading this and hope you can support us.
