Three Shires Cycle Sportive
The #ThreeShires Cycle Sportive is a fun family cycling event for participants of all ages and abilities exploring the quiet country lanes of Cheshire.
The RNLI #ThreeShires Cycle Sportive is a fundraising non-competitive cycling event that starts and finishes at Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road just outside the centre of Sandbach, Cheshire. Brought to you by the Crewe, Nantwich and South Cheshire branch of the RNLI with help from our friends at Sandbach Rugby Club, the event has four route options to cater for all ages and abilities:

100km #ThreeShires main event. A loop of Cheshire, Shropshire & Staffordshire
- 141km Triple Crown ~ 100km, 35km and 6km routes back to back!
The routes are tried and tested by local riders and designed around the beautiful country lanes and villages of Cheshire and the surrounding areas. The routes have been carefully planned to accommodate the riding abilities of all participants. The roads selected and quality of surfaces were based on comprehensive risk assessments and are suitable for group riding purposes, which will cause minimum inconvenience to all other road users. This in turn makes the ride more pleasant for participants, but also limits the impact of the event in the surrounding area. The route and event timings have been designed to ensure that wherever possible, there are low traffic volumes and away from major roads & busy towns.
Entry fees include:• Your donation to the RNLI with no further sponsorship expectations (although additional sponsorship and donations are always welcome!).
•Ample & dedicated free parking onsite.
• Male/Female changing facilities (with hot showers)
• Well signed routes with well stocked pit stops (snacks and drinks)
• A voucher to be redeemed on the day from the Rugby Club Bistro (Breakfast bap or post event bap ~ please note this cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given)
• Finisher medal for all participants
Additionally, the Rugby club venue facilities offer food & hot drinks available to purchase all day, a licensed bar open following the cycle ride, large clubhouse open for spectators and outdoor seating area for all to enjoy the day
