Buoy to Beacon Swim Run 2024

Join our fundraising swim & run challenge to raise funds for St Agnes lifeboat and lifeguards

The challenge is a 1000m swim from Trevaunance Cove out to the marker buoy and back, immediately followed by a 5km run up St Agnes Beacon and back down to the cove.

The event is supported by St Agnes Surf Lifesaving Club who will run a BBQ.

Parking is available at the public car parks at Trevaunance Cove which are pay and display. Public toilets at the Cove will be open.

Please read the terms and conditions carefully as you must be able to complete the sea swim, you will need to agree to these as part of the sign up process:

  • You must be at least 14 years of age on the day of the event to enter.
  • You will provide and wear your own wetsuit at the event. No swimmer will be allowed in the water without a wetsuit on. We recommend wearing a swim-specific wetsuit, which will provide extra buoyancy and warmth.
  • You must be able to swim at least one mile in open water conditions.
  • You must attend the safety briefing before the start of the swim.
