Union Hall RNLI's 10th annual swim is taking place around Glandore Harbour on Sunday 30th July 2023.

The Union Hall swim will take place in Glandore Harbour. There will be a 1K and 2K route for participants to choose from.

Registration
Registration will open at 12.30pm to 1:45pm SHARP on Keelbeg Pier, Union Hall! There is no on the day registration. When you arrive on the day, there will be 1K and 2K check in desks that are in alphabetical order, so go to the table with the first letter of your surname, give your name and you will get your number written on your hand.

Safety Briefing
The safety briefing will commence at 1:45p.m. We will not be timing this swim, it is up to you if you want to time yourself, but 1K swimmers will be taken out of the water after 60 Minutes for safety. There will be RNLI volunteers, first aid provision and assistance available on the day. We strongly recommend wearing a wet suit, however they are not compulsory.

Routes
There will be maps of the swim available on the day. Both the 1K and 2K swimmers will leave from the beach at Keelbeg Pier, Union Hall, you will also finish the swim at the same beach. If you are participating in the swim under 16 years of age, a parent/guardian will be asked to sign a parental consent form on your behalf prior to the swim.
