RNLI Winscombe Reindeer Run 2023

The RNLI Winscombe Santa Saunter and Reindeer Run is a fun, festive event for the whole family. Everyone is welcome, so whether you want to hop, skip, run or walk, the Reindeer Run is the must-go-to event this Christmas!

Come along and don your reindeer antlers. With festive stalls and a medal for all those who complete their course, you won’t want to miss out on this year’s event. Participants and spectators will be able to enter into a prize draw, to be announced at the end of the event.

Tickets for all runs - must be purchased by someone 18 years old or over.

Age restrictions

2.5k – Santa Saunter

• No minimum age requirement, however, all under 15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult (max ratio of 5 children per adult).
• 15 year olds and over can participate independently (parental consent will be part of the registration process)

5k

• Minimum age requirement of 11 years old to participate.
• 11-14 year olds must be accompanied by an adult (max ratio of 2 children per adult)
• 15 year olds and over can participate independently (parental consent will be part of the registration process)

Route information

Both courses start and finish at Winscombe Sports Ground and follow well established footpaths. The 2.5k Santa Saunter is on level terrain. The 5k will involve more of an ascent up and then down a hill.

Timings

• Registration from 13:00
• 5k - runners must have registered by 13:40
• 2.5k Santa Saunter – runner must have registered by 13:55
• More detailed event information will be emailed once an entry has been purchased.

Fundraising

We ask that everyone taking part in Reindeer Run raises a minimum of £50 to help enable our volunteer crews to continue to save lives at sea.
