The #ThreeShires Cycle Event is now in it’s fourth year! The event is aimed at cyclists of all ages and abilities with routes to suit or challenge each. This year we’re adding the option of a 5km family fun run to the day!

The 100km route (L) is on quiet, predominantly flat, country lanes, allowing participants to cycle through the three shire counties of Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire.
Heading in an anti-clockwise loop North out of Sandbach in Cheshire towards Middlewich. The route then heads West through Church Minshull, Aston Juxta Mondrum, and South through Acton and Ravensmoor passing Audlem Marina (pit stop) before heading to Norton in Hales, Shropshire. From there the route returns North East through Hankelow and on East to Wrinehill and Betley in Staffordshire before heading back into Cheshire via Alsager returning to Sandbach.

The 85km route (M) starts and finishes on the same loop as the 100km route but returns from Audlem through Wrinehill (missing the Nortin in Hales Shropshire loop).

The 35km Intermediate route (S) again starts and finishes along much of the same route as the 100/85km route but cuts a shorter route West to East.
Heading on the same anti clockwise loop North out of Sandbach, Cheshire towards Middlewich, the route diverges from the 100km circuit around the 15km mark and heads East skirting the North East of Crewe towards Winterley and Oakhanger to re-join the 100km route near Alsager before returning to Sandbach

The 5km family ride route (XS) starts from the Rugby club, again heading North towards Middlewich along Bradwall Road, before taking a right turn down Pillar Box Lane and the a series of left turns on to Ward’s Lane, Walnut Tree Lane and back onto Bradwall Road returning to the Rugby club.
The route is aimed at families and children of all ages.

The Triple Crown! (XL) Take on the 100km route, 35km route and the 5km route back to back! 140km in total!

5km Family Fun Run – New for this year! If you don’t fancy cycling but would like to get involved, why not try a 5km family fun run! Three laps of the Rugby club fields, all within the safety of the Rugby Club grounds.
