Locks Heath & District Branch acts as an entirely voluntary local fundraising arm of the RNLI working throughout Locks Heath & Fareham in Hampshire also including the following areas; Warsash, Sarisbury Green, Park Gate, Swanwick, and Whiteley.
Our small but dedicated team of volunteers help us raise much needed funds through various local fundraising events, working with local businesses and through the sale of RNLI Souvenirs, Gifts and Christmas Cards.
We also offer speakers for local groups and schools about the work of the RNLI.
Just one good deed can make all the difference
Would you like to do something truly worthwhile with your free time for the RNLI?
We are looking for support with our local events.
We would love to hear from you and welcome you onboard.
We are currently seeking a Branch Treasurer to provide support and help to our branch.
The role of branch treasurer is responsible for ensuring our fundraising branches comply with financial procedures and the recording of income/expenditure of fundraising events and activities.
Internet access is required as all financial transactions have been online since 2013.
Where possible, assist with fundraising events during the year.
If you have an eye for detail, enjoy record keeping and have/or would like to gain financial accounting experience then this role is for you. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
This is a great opportunity to really make a difference by raising vital funds for our volunteer crew members and lifeguards.
It would be very useful if you lived in the Locks Heath/Fareham area as local contacts are always welcome.
