Lake District Fundraising Branch
Branch information
The Lake District branch carries out fundraising in a wide area of South Lakeland, covering the towns and villages along the A591 from Grasmere in the north to Kendal in the south.
The branch was founded in 1893 and is the longest continuously serving branch in the northwest region. We are based in Windermere, and our committee organises various events throughout the year; including coffee mornings, music evenings, a quiz night and numerous street and supermarket collections.
The committee is ably supported by local volunteers, but we are always happy to welcome new helpers.
We can never have too many volunteers to assist at events and collections. Please contact us if you would like to help.
Please contact the Treasurer for opportunities at this branch or check our volunteering vacancies.
We hold committee meetings 6 or 7 times a year.
