Inverkip, Wemyss Bay and Skelmorlie Fundraising Branch

Inverkip, Wemyss Bay and Skelmorlie Branch has been raising funds for the RNLI for over 50 years. We organise fun events in the area such as race nights, sherry mornings and collections including collecting on the Wemyss Bay to Rothesay Ferry. We have a presence at local events, such as the Boat Show at Kip Marina and the Largs Show, where we sell RNLI souvenirs. We have been fortunate to benefit from donations from local individuals and companies, such as Kip Marina who for several years have held a fundraising Summer Ball.

We are a small branch and we always welcome new volunteers to help in our fundraising, and new committee members to help with organising events. New fundraising ideas are always welcome too!

Occasional volunteering

Would you like to volunteer for the RNLI but are concerned about finding the time to do so on a regular basis? You can help us in a variety of ways – just an hour or 2 will make a difference. If a regular volunteer commitment is too much, then occasional volunteering could be for you.
