Honley and Brockholes Fundraising Branch
The Honley & Brockholes Fundraising Branch (originally a 'guild') was formed at Honley House on the 22nd June 1927; and was one of the very first to have house to house collections to be held in the British Isles.
Since formation The Honley & Brockholes Guild and Branch have raised hundreds of thousands which is attributable to the saving of a great many lives at sea.
As a Branch we raise money for and promote the RNLI at various events around Honley, Brockholes and surrounding areas. We have trained Education presenters available for talks to Schools, Colleges, University, Clubs, etc. in the West Yorkshire area.
Holding our meetings in the heart of Honley at The Liberal Club, Cuckoo Lane, HD9 6AS near to Honley Junior, Infant & nursery School; Honley and Brockholes Branch is one of the oldest branches in the area.
We welcome new members to the branch and anyone who can help at our events even for one hour, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
