Branch information

Edenbridge and District Branch in the far west of Kent also includes the surrounding villages of Four Elms, Hever, Mark Beech and Cowden. The nearest RNLI lifeboat Station is at Gravesend approximately 27 miles north of us.

We take the RNLI gazebo and souvenirs to each summer to local village fetes and later to the popular Edenbridge Motor Show in early September. Early November sees us setting up our sales stall at Edenbridge market. For the Mayday campaign we hold a street collection in the High Street and the local supermarket. Popular events have included a winter quiz night and we organise a Fish Supper each October.

New fundraising ideas are always welcome and we would welcome new members who can help at events as necessary or be part of the committee. Please consider coming along and help support our lifesaving volunteers. Having access to a computer and email is preferable but not essential as a member.

We would welcome new members who would like to help at events only or help as part of the committee.

Please contact the Secretary for opportunities at this branch or check our volunteering vacancies.

Each year, we hold an open Meeting and AGM, usually in April; and two committee meetings.
