Bradford and Baildon Fundraising Branch
The Bradford and BaIidon branch has its roots going back to 1859 when after a shipping disaster with the loss of many lives. The wool merchants and mill owners decided to raise money for a lifeboat named Bradford. In all 9 lifeboats have carried the 'Bradford' or 'City of Bradford'; name with 4 more other Bradford linked lifeboats.
We are an active fundraising branch and a dedicated volunteer who is able to give talks and presentations; as well as education and water safety to youth groups.
We also have a branch page on Facebook.
Starting in January we will meet every 2nd Wednesday in every 2nd month at the Old Club, Northgate, Baildon, BD176LX.
