After 23 years as a partner, Eddie retired from KPMG at the end of 2010 to focus his time on working alongside various charities. During his time with KPMG, he held various executive roles including executive partner for Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
His client work focused primarily on the construction and public sectors and also included manufacturing and retail. For the last 9 years with KPMG, he was the lead partner responsible for KPMG services to the Royal Household.
Eddie’s involvement with charities includes being chair of Create (Arts) Ltd, and chairman and trustee of XLP. Eddie is also a past Prime Warden of the Basket Makers Livery Company.
Eddie is currently a business advisor. He was elected to the Council in May 2013, appointed a trustee in July 2013, and is currently treasurer and deputy chair. He has chaired the Finance and Investment Committees since 2014.
Eddie has one daughter Abigail, married to Philip, and two delightful granddaughters.
