Projects in school are a great way of developing independent learning in young people.   Many different project topics can link to the RNLI, including People who help us, transport, the beach and many more.

97% of RNLI people are volunteers and the RNLI website contains many examples of the ways people volunteer their time and services, as well as opportunities for young people themselves to volunteer. The sea and inland waterways are vital for our economy and communities in the UK and RoI, but they can be dangerous places too.
