Why? well next to the Park is the Stranraer Inshore Lifeboat Station, the RNLI relies totally on volunteers, fundraising and donations from the public to provide this vital life saving service

All in One Hall
This year for the first time will see the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show move into one hall of ExCeL.The Show will take place in the whole of the South Hall and extend the use of the dockside to see more boats and attractions out on the water, including the dockside and Used Boats Marina. Of course there will be boats galore both inside and out, and the hall will include a starter boat area, dinghy and small boat area, power boats, many boardwalks, original equipment manufacturers, a holidays, charter, marinas and sea schools area, equipment, fittings and retail.

The Boardwalk was a popular feature at the 2012 Show with thousands of Show visitors walking among the boats inside, admiring them at deck level. 2013 will see not one, not two but several boardwalks throughout the South Hall featuring power and sail boats of varying sizes for all to see.

A day for the whole family to enjoy! Westfield's gardens, which overlook the Newton Creek in Devon, were featured in the November 2012 edition of Devon Life magazine, under the title "Garden of Memories".  Set in half an acre of grounds, the terraced gardens are themed. There is a Romney Marsh Garden, Dungeness, Wild & Cottage gardens. There is also the Summerhouse bank, Zen, Buddha & Mediterranean gardens. Ample seating is provided, to enable visitors to leisurely enjoy the many visual aspects of the gardens and there is an excellent climbing frame to keep young visitors happy too!
