Galway RNLI Crew's 30th Anniversary
Join us in celebrating a significant milestone for our local community, the 30th Anniversary of Galway RNLI.
From late 2025 through 2026, we are marking three decades of dedication, courage, and community support in Galway Bay with a special year of celebration. In October 1995 our volunteer crew started training and in March 1996 the station went on service. Since then we have been on call 24/7, ready to launch and rescue those in danger on the water.
This anniversary year is a chance to honour the immense commitment of our past and present crew members and the generosity of the local community that has funded our essential service.
We'll be updating our website throughout the year with details of exciting community events, fundraisers, and opportunities to connect with the people who power our lifeboat station.
