RNLI Salisbury - An Evening of Sea Shanties
Join Salisbury, Wilton and District RNLI Branch for a memorable evening of sea shanties at the beautiful St John's Place, Lower Bemerton
Following the success of previous events, we're delighted to welcome back two renowned and ever-popular local sea shanty groups, The Navy Larks and Catch of the Day, for an evening of live musical entertainment.
The Navy Larks men's group perform shanties and songs of the sea at charity events across Salisbury, raising funds for the RNLI through many of their concerts each year. They are also regular performers at the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival. Catch of the Day (formerly All at Sea) are a talented group of women from Salisbury who support a range of charities, including the RNLI, through their performances.
There will also be an opportunity to browse our pop-up RNLI shop, featuring Christmas cards, calendars and a selection of gifts for adults and children.
A licensed bar will be available throughout the evening, and there is ample free parking in the car park opposite the venue.
All proceeds from the event will be shared between the RNLI and St John's Place.
