The Lower Deckers Sea Shanty Group - RNLI Church Stretton - 2026
Join us for a evening filled with traditional sea shanties and folk songs, all performed by the The Lower Deckers to raise money for the RNLI.
The Lower Deckers repertoire includes traditional shanties, songs of the sea, folk songs and more. They promise a good time for all.
The Lower Deckers are a fun, contemporary shanty group who come from landlocked Shropshire and Herefordshire. They regularly perform at festivals, pubs, cafes, residential homes and other venues often raising money for charities including the RNLI. This is a return visit after their very successful evening back in 2019. Their programme provides opportunities for audience participation as well as the chance to listen to their entertaining range of music.
During the interval, light snacks, tea and coffee will be served. You may bring your own drinks.
