My charity collection bag has not been collected, what should I do?

Please contact Local Community Recycling Services and advise that your bag has not been collected. They will then make arrangements to collect this for you. The contact number is on the bag.

How do I confirm whether the bag I receive through my letterbox is genuine and not a scam?

Genuine RNLI sacks have a plastic envelope with the RNLI’s details printed directly onto them – charity number, charity statements, legal statements, contact number and the day of collection.  In addition, the sacks inside are also branded with the RNLI and collection details. We do not issue leaflets with plain white or black bags.  We would ask members of the public to be vigilant and check the bags they receive carefully. If people are in any doubt, they can contact Local Community Recycling Services on 0845 074 0603 to check if the collections are genuine and to report bogus/suspicious activity.
