Six people rescued in two separate call outs for Clifden RNLI.
During their highly successful open day on Saturday 27 August the volunteer crew of Kessock Lifeboat were in the middle of a mock rescue demonstration for the public when they were tasked to assist a yacht in difficulty in the Beauly Firth.

At 5.06am today (Thursday 25 August) Lough Derg RNLI was requested to launch their lifeboat following a report to Nenagh Gardaí of calls for help heard coming in off the lake, that had woke sailors camping at Lough Derg Yacht Club.
At lunchtime on 24 August, inshore lifeboat George Bearman and Shannon class lifeboat R and J Welburn were tasked by the Coastguard to search the river Exe for a possible missing person.
